    Description

Presented is a wonderful quality English sterling silver platter or stuffing spoon from 1818. The design is simple and elegant, and the piece is very sturdy and well-made. This long-handled spoon would have been used for serving stuffing and would be completely useable for any similar purpose today.
The reverse of the handle is hallmarked with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for London, the King George III head duty mark, the date letter C for 1818, and the maker's mark for William Seaman.
The spoon is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The spoon is approximately 12 1/4 inches long.
The serving spoon weighs 120 grams.
