    Description

    This is an antique set of brass balance weights (for the old style apothecary scales).  The 4 smallest weights are missing.  The rest are nestled in the original hinged wood box. The weights that are present are:  500 grams, 200 grams, 100 grams (two of these), 50 grams, 20 grams, and 10 grams (two of these).  The word "grams" is spelled the old English style "grammes" on these. The box is 7 by 3 by 3 1/4 inches.   There is a brand name on the top but it's so worn I can't read it. Please look at all the photos and ask any questions, thanks.
