    Description

Presented is a nice set of 3 English Georgian sterling silver gravy ladles made by William Eley & William Fearn. The ladles are done in an elegant threaded pattern with the monogram ECM engraved on the ends of the handles. The monogram was probably added in the early 1900s, approximately 100 years after the ladles were made.
The ladles are hallmarked on the reverse with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard’s head crowned for London, the date letter ‘D’ for 1799, the duty mark of King George III’s head, and a maker’s mark of WE over WF for William Eley & William Fearn.
The ladles have some minor surface wear on the bowls, but otherwise the condition is excellent. There are no major dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The ladles are 7 inches long.
The weight is 191.3 grams or 6.7 ounces.
